Close. NW was pumping offshore all day long and tried to come onshore during the afternoon, but felt like a heat bubble stopped it from happening. Alex and I both tried and some waves were had, but the wind was so light I was thankful the waves were as gentle as they were on the slack low of 1.6 m and spared us any serious consequences. Glad I tried, but wished the wind had kicked. Jesse arrived back home from the south Oregon Coast all smiles from living van life and scoring sessions at the Cape, Pistol River and the Rogue River mouth!
