Caught the 9:30 session from Tolmie to Acadia on 8m+surfboard in WSW 25g30 with Phil on 4m+kitefoil. Shared the Acadia waves with another windsurfer (orange board and orange sail) and another kiter on surfboard.
Mainly disorganized waves with flooding tide. Had to hunt for clean waves between Acadia and Dog Beach.
Came in at 11:30 just as it clocked offshore. Lucky I came in just enough to touch bottom before my kite dropped out the sky.
Very impressed by my new 2022 8m North Carve. It pulls upwind nicely in gusty conditions.
