Early morning session- but with the gale forecast ( 40plus) thought I should get out while I could.
Was the right decision- was the opposite of normal, as strong wind came in well before swell built, so had a little of both.
Of course when it did quickly build to 25 or so, was starting to question the sanity of the situation;-)
