Just saw my 1000 session log went by without me noticing! Started out nicely powered on 4.0, got a few long runs downwind pretty much flagged out. After a while it got really hard to foil again, went in and pumped it up, stayed in and it only lasted 10 minutes. Found two streams of bubbles. Decided to try 5.0 inside. Foil out till see some kelp, jibe, restart, in to beach and jibe. Lent my gear to Grantmac, who came in saying the foil needed to go WAY forward and maybe a shim. I'd already moved it way forward but another 5 cm and I ALMOST MADE THE FIRST 3 JIBE ATTEMPTS! Board seemed way easier to control at takeoff and at higher speeds. thanks Grant! Sunny, warm, windy, great turnout, including first timer Aaron who needs a bigger board and smaller wing!
