Atomic Chomik and I were going to carpool together to CB but his dog had other plans for him and thought a day at the vet would be preferable after tripping on mystery weed all night (the dog, not Marty). After stopping for doughnuts (for my parents...really) in Parksville, I beelined it to the beach and was first out on a 3M, 680HA and the Sultan Midlength. I was completely lit or overpowered the whole session but got into a decent rhythm. Best swells were after 230pm and I had one long ride from the outside all the way to the green roof house doing big GS turns on a head high plus swell. So fun. Eel grass was literally a drag. Almost every run I had some on my foil. Great to wing with some of the Peru foil crew (JB and Dean); it's been a while! The Amos Sultan's going up for sale if anyone wants an awesome, completely new/mint, 65L mid length 5'5" x 19" carbon board with bag for a great price. I'd originally picked it up for Parawinging and prone foiling but it turns out to be too close in size/use to my Ginxu 2 which I really love. Fun day!
