Session 4 on the 4m PW. New bridle config works so much better than stock, but I was quite overpowered despite the better range and handling. Still, improving on getting going, stowing, and redeploying. It's not easy! Upwind ability is now similar to a wing, which is fantastic. The stock bridle config didn't go upwind nearly as well as the new config. Had to deal with a couple of tangles caused by crashing, but surprisingly, the parawing "wants" to untangle itself with a bit of prompting and line finagling. Stowing is tricky, as you turn down wind and quickly slide up the lines with one hand, grabbing the leading edge (which is spinning and fluttering) while picking a line downwind and not breaching. Patting head/rubbing belly-type stuff. It's a super fun challenge though, and I've had hints of DW surfing bliss moments and each redeploy without the wing going the wrong way or jerking me away from my board feels like a huge win each time. Basic jibes feel pretty good now. Pretty stoked, even with 3 walks of shame (from being overpowered!).
