Arrived in the rain as the first shift was packing up. Never seen Bobson shiver before! Managed to get rid of a box of Loukoumades from the Greek community centre as warming devices. Excellent session! The foil now forward flies so quickly - had trouble shifting my glued front foot further forward running down wave faces flagged out. Very nearly foiled out but got my weight further forward and managed to shuffle a cm or two and that sorted it. Pretty much made the elusive foiling gybe. Got powered up again toeside, sailed on port tack for about 10 seconds, a lull touched down and I jumped my feet around. A big lull and a big wave knocked me in, but progress! Talked to Nolan after and he said we must celebrate the days when things work - agreed! And used the harness for cranking upwind, took the strain off my shoulders, love it. And had my longest pump ever to keep foiling between puffs close to the beach. Yeah!!
