Ok, that was fantastic!! Arrived early @8:30am to 25kts so rigged the 4.5m Sailworks Flyer as flat as possible. The Pope and TnT arrived and rigged 4's and we all headed out at the same time. It was quite wavy but shorebreak was manageable and it wasn't high tide yet so there was a bit of room to launch. Sailed for an hour and a half and the wind decided to drop down to 15kts so I came in for some tea to warm up a bit as many more Wingers showed up. Soontobe RedVanPaulAussie and ULR were chatting about football in the parking lot so I drank my tea and headed back out. Seemed like a lot of Wingers on the water now so having to watch when I jibed kinda sucked, almost turned into The Pope so kept a better look out from then on. JJ, SAJohn, JustJohn, H-Rock, GregCan, ULR and his soon to be soninlaw and their rigging person, and a few others that I didn't recognize because all you Wingers look the same out on the water. Maybe some of you can wear some sort of bright yellow safety vest so I can tell you apart. The sun was a bit of an issue on port tack towards Oak Bay Marina so just decided to close my eyes and hope on a few runs! Some kelp and logs in the water but mostly clean and easy foiling other than the big waves. I saw that I hit 50kms and decided to pull the plug as there was Sunday Funday football and Ice Cold Corona's at home waiting for me. Pretty great Sunday, even a Windsurfer showed up at the end plus I didn't get wet, hit all 54 of my jibes. SWEET!!
