Might fine down the line. Oh wow what a great day. Arrived at 6:45am after staying at Bean's place (thanks dood!) just to see the wind drop and huge swells rolling in. I almost cried. Then within minutes the wind was back and there was hope. Went out on the 4.5/RRD then it came in some more and I switched to the Evo. The swell was fantastic with great rides and jumps as high as you wanted. Had 2 big jumps and landed flat...ouch. Saw Ozy do a crazy huge stalled forward - wow. Wind dropped at 10am and we almost left. Stood around for almost 3hrs waiting for the wind to drop so we could leave...it wasn't dropping and C36 was having too much fun, so Bean and I had a second session on the bigger gear for another hour. Gusty and low tide but the odd swell still pumped through.
That's day #10 for me at Columbia this winter...what an amazing place.
