I lucked out with kiting lessons (end of June/08) with the IKO certification of instructors. Thanks to Marie (Elevation Kiteboarding school) for signing me up for that.
How fortunate to have 4 different instructors go over the basics ie.wind thoery, safety, gear, rigging, trainer kite flying, a little body dragging, self rescue and landing/relaunching the kite. Thanks to Rod (Vancouver), Brianna (Gorge), Dean (Penticton), Johanna (Vancouver), and Matt (Vancouver) for my gentle introduction to this amazing extreme sport. Left Nitinat with some serious stoke to get into the sport
