That was way more fun than I expected. Just enough to plane, but consistent for the whole time. The waves were amazing! I wish I'd had more speed because the ramps were setting up everywhere! I did get a couple of hops, but they were more like drops - down the backside of some steep 2 m waves. Had lots of practice wave riding, which I'm not too good at. The weeds were a bit of a bother. I got pretty good at body dragging / clearing fin with foot / waterstarting. Still a fair number of the sea blubber / lion's mane jellyfish to avoid.
Bonus was 2 hours technical single track mountain biking immediately afterward. Fresh halibut for dinner. The Island is awesome!
