A late start, but came up quickly when it did, at around 2pm. Had fun mowing the 'Nitinat lawn'. Tacked successfully on the other side a few times.
Was 'chaperoned' by Jellyfish, Meiri and Ray V. sailing beside me yelling for me to put my feet in the footstraps. Got the front foot in. I'm finding it hard to commit, and risk ruining a good run. I'll keep trying.
Tried a few gybes, and ended up doing a helicopter gybe (I think) by accident on the other side.
Bear ransacked our campsite at 6am Monday morning, and ate a lot of our food, and slobbered on everything else that (s)he left. Couldn't locate the empty food box, until we checked way down at the point. Two jumbo bricks of cheese, lots of yogurt, bread, etc......beware, there's a constipated bear around.
Staying for a couple more days if the sun keeps shining.
