Easy flat water sailing today .... great for practicing gybes. Only WS on the lake all day .... lots of kites. Great feeling to get more gybes than not on the port tack but still like a goldfish in a bowl ...... unable to do it in the other direction. Getting closer though. Tried some unsuccessful tacks for fun.
Matt and BA dragging down the lake on kites at the start with BA catching on like a pro after three lessons....... up on the board screaming upwind at the end of the day!!
Sweltering on the beach, warm winds, no bears visiting during the day ......sounds good? The road is a killer .... no surface left.
Poor van ..... thanks BA for the sacrifice, driving there and back and the good company as we rattled through a thousand potholes and bumped over numerous tire eating rocks.
