Totally flat at Klover made me wonder, 5.3'ed it for 1 run to the waves, no way  4.7, maxed & flat, biggest waves I've ever sailed here. Endless smooth rides took me past Finlayson all the way toward cruiseships, wow. A bit nervous by myself, then way OP so tagged up, smaller board, back out, 3.7 :x left at home w/ 10kn forecast  4.2 fully ripped, flat & still mach 2. Then waves crapped out, wind got super gusty, tried a bit more, quitting time
Sail 11 Wave 12 Jump 3
As things got windier, the waves moved further and further offshore. The OES rocked til it was just too much, fin/rail spinning free on the wave faces, had to switch sticks. Creepy, nervous, hoping not to be becalmed, all that. But: While I was multi-slashing earlyon the bay's smoothest monsters I've probably ever been on I wondered what goes through the minds of others who usually sail this stuff and decided to not come out....."Oh, looks cold and wet today"? "Ah, I'll wait for IV to get to 17 knots at low tide"? "Beige! Yes, I think I'll paint my monitor beige"? "Wow, do I ever have gas today..."? or "Kus is full of shit"?......I have never wished for a helmet cam more than today  the webcam pix sure don't tell the story, wow
