1st day off for a few weeks, main lake still iced over but a big patch clear at Ospika. Ice still on this arm on opposite shore, 4 layers of poly pro, marino wool, and fleece under the drysuit, hood and gloves. Went palmless, 11 degrees air temp, but the skin on the backs of my hands went completely numb. Probably only about 1 or 2 degrees water temp. The wind was surprisingly steady, just before a big front. Not quite enough to plane, but got better as I derigged. Heavy snow this morning cancelled work till afternoon. will try and find time/internet to post a pic or two. Glorious scenery.
