Spent most of the day watching Sandra rip up the lake on her kite. Went out late in the day for a light wind rip on the big gear.
Powered up blasting for a while and then the wind shut off. Unfortunately, I was on the far side of the lake and without an uphaul. I had to get creative and take my boom apart, take off the harness lines and use them as an uphaul. Took a bit of messing around but it worked like a charm. I got the sail up first try and sailed back to the beach. I didn't even lose any ground, just a few calories :)
