Sailboard. .

Trying to find out what find would fit this board. It's an old original
"Sailboard" think it'd be fun for paddling around on. The guy I got it from didn't know anything about the fins.

Does anyone have experience with these, or know what I can use on it???

Hey, I'm just wondering if there's anywhere in Comox/Courtenay to get battens for an old sail? I need one that's about 6ft long to replace a broken one.

After some experimenting with these masts, I realize that the times they don't sail great are when they're mismatched, bottoms with the wrong tops...didn't think it would make much of a difference but it seems to. No labels on any thing so its a bit tricky to get the correct ones matched, tossed ...

Thanks for the info guys! The technical stuff is a bit confusing, haha. So I'll stick with as short of an extension as possible and just keep messing with it until it doesn't feel squirrely in the wind. No, I live in Courtenay, but I'll make sure to bring those masts for next time I'm in Parksville ...

Sunday (June 10th) was great at Island View. Not too much wind, swells were small. I also went out to Elk on the Saturday, it was reading 14knots gusting 21 around 4ish. Lots of good places for beginners. Willows is another place to spend some time.
