Oh well, forecast looks &@*# rest of the week so we're heading to the redwoods tomorrow then Ashland for some culture, crater lake and up to hood river.. I should be able to get some there!! Any tips on how to forecast/select best sailing site in the Gorge?

Thanks for the links C36 and winddude but to no avail: the forecast didn't come through it's blowing S 5 knots! We couldn't even get a kite going 110l wouldn't be enough ;(

Florence was maybe 15 knots and small surf - not worth the long walk :/ Gonna try camping at William Tugman state park in the middle of dune country (anybody stayed there before?) and going for the Cape/pistol river tomorrow! 25 knots in the forecast! Which forecasts do you guys use? WindsurfOregon....

Will be in Florence this afternoon/evening .. Any recommendations as to where to stay the night (camping with family &dogs)?
