New video from Gordons on 7/7/7
Here's a new one from Gordon's yesterday (July 7 2007), as seen through the eyes of Winddoctor. It sure gets me pumped up to try more things when I'm sailing. And yes I could have cut out the time spent frolicking on the beach but I thought it has artistic merit Can't wait for other people to wear the helmet cam, especially on the Oregon Coast trip. Let me know if you want to try it out, preferably someone that I can trade helmets with so I don't bruise my melon. If you are wondering about the music then see dunkinguys post.

Re: nice!
thanks, yep i slowed down morewinds loop since in normal speed it was so fast. The raw files are 512x384 avi files and i convert them to 320x240 wmv files. The originals look a lot better than the compressed files but they are huge. Winddoc's 20 min session was about 850 MB.Wavos Rancheros wrote:great work on the video dave, was that a slow motion segment i thought i saw? what kind of file does the cam generate..wmv, or ?

Hatchery video
Here's a short video from a 4.0 morning session at The Hatchery in the Gorge. Thanks to TheLaw for wearing the helmet cam for part of it:

Columbia Dec 16 2007
From CB last Sunday. The cam was pointed too low so it mostly shot water, but I did manage to scrape 3 minutes out of the hour of footage. I ordered a proper helmet mount and a wide angle lens so hopefully things will improve when they arrive. It should make it easier to lend out the cam (thanks to Winddoctor for the spare Gath helmet ).
