Hot Sails Maui 2011

Post by nanmoo »

Since all the "cool" people ride HSM sails, thought this might be of interest.

Check out the new Fire colors, Fun fun fun! However, too many people are now using these, so I might have to revert back to the vintage 1985 Gaastra I have in my garage just too be different again.

I liked the red/white of the fire back when it was the S.O. ..all these different colours just look silly with that same graphic in my opinion.
I do like the blingy trim on the Smack though.
I will worry about how the 2011 sails look when i am checking them out in about 2014 give or take.

Wait a second Dave, isn't that sail you just picked up a 2009? Therefore, you will be looking in 2012. Sort it out, jeeeeezzzz.

oooh ... I rarely break a mast. Probably something to do with not pogoing them off the bottom in shorebreak

I don't have any spare sections, but I would check the HSM shop ASAP as I think he is phasing out the Kilwell made masts & the new ones will not be interchangeable...

HSM boom?

Post by KC7777 »

Hi,

Re HSM....any idea when the HSM alloy booms will be available on the HSM website this year? I have one already and am interested in purchasing another. I haven't seen any alum booms on there for a while.

thanks, Keith

I'm also in need of some mast pieces if they're available. 430 bottom, if it's out there looking for a home, I've got a lonely top.

No and you won't be for the foreseeable future. I'm on week 10 of P90x, I'm a lean mean non-looping machine!
