Port Alberni, Annual 'Kites in the Quay' Event
Annually, the community celebrates the wind by flying land kites on the waterfront at Harbour Quay ('Kites at the Quay' event sponsored by Toy Run).

Wild West Watersports will be utilizing the water, wind, and natural backdrop of the mountain to showcase the spectacular beauty of kiteboarders/windsurfers in the inlet to extend the annual land show to the inlet.
Come and join the festivities! Just show up to play at WWW parking, rigging area to launch your kite/windsurfer, and ride/sail/surf.
