Hey, I'm new to the whole kite world. Learning to fly still, but looking forward to getting into all kinds of kite boarding.
Flying a Hq Rush 350 pro.

fly that trainer all winter, every opportunity you can. if we are lucky enough to get snow and wind together, throw on your snowboard and giv'r in a big field. Use a longboard with your trainer on the road at esquilmalt lagoon. (wear a helmet and try not to piss off the birds). Cross train in a swimming pool on your downtime. By the time spring winds are here an hour or two of lessons from a SKILLED instructor (ask around) will have you rippin on the water with ease.

Thanks. I figure the best thing I can do is keep flying until is becomes second nature. The snowboarding has got me super stoked.

Hello Trav,

Thanks for posting and do read all the relevant posts in regards to safety and close calls as they are there to prevent similar situations. As the current threads as posts indicate .... definately ask around for a skilled and repuatable (sp?) instructor....unfortunately there are some around that have the skills but not some basic common sense needed to convey a safe learning environment for not only their student(s) but for those around them as well both on and off the water

Cheers and hope to meet/see you on the water

Dale
