Beauty of speed, Racing on the Alberni inlet
Port Alberni is known for drag races with the annual Thunder in the Valley vehicle rally and car/motorcycle show event.
In the heat of the summer, many of us have experienced those strong thermal winds that kick up in the Alberni inlet.
This would definately make for ideal conditions for windsurfing and kiting drag races launching from the Wild West Watersports access.
