Nitinat in early May
To answer Kevin question about RNDB
Some video of DoucheBag (should give you a general idea):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOYEgRH77zU
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cs8HMQ2Jfrw
I guess my redneck definition was probably wrong but found a video that would somehow explain what I think what a redneck is? (I am probably wrong, english not my first language):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rVI4_6999M
People doing donought super late at night around KUS trailer when he and his family were sleeping at Patcheedaht years ago would be a redneck?
Or the Langford/Sooke crowd that camped beside us on a camping spot down Nitinaht River (~20 minute before Nit Lake) would be redneck???
Was camping w Jordon-Christina + kids, and a couple of other friends. The rednecks (Langford / Sooke) crew of 15-20+ people were dangerously playing with their pickup truck, Dirtbike around the "camp site" super late at night etc... It seems like pressing the gaz throtlle full blow while staying still and blowing rocks around was considered like being a "Man" / "God" / "Heroic" / "Super Cool" action by other males and females in their group, obviously bringing other males into doing more stupid stunt, some guy even broke their entire shaft from their pickup truck (I know its eveil, but I was so happy upon learning that news in the morning). Seems like an engine running would give them the " YYYEEEAAAAHHH, THIS IS WHAT LIFE IS ABOUT!!! etc...
Would that king of behaviour be consider as Redneck?
Anyhow, when the redneck becomes also a DoucheBag, it means that 5/10 of the places he goes (camping/bars/night club/music fest), there will be a near fight 4 to 5 times out of 10, and 1 time out of 10 there will be a real fight.
But Renfrew is not like this anymore, you have been there Kevin, there wasnt any redneck and the management as got a lot lot better on strick enforcement of rules. Sometimes on May long there might be one or two RNDB but the people he goes with usually keep that RNDB under control.
During May long last year, anybody that wanted to go to bed at 23h00 could have done so. Management are strick on noise and stupidity...
On the other end they are also great with responsible adults that want to party till 3-4 am (just lower the music) on the lower campsite (South). North Campsite they are more strick so it is like any other weekend (but I am sure they tolerate lower music level if people are considerate to others and not doing stupid things. Good place to go during May Long. As much as Nitinaht obviously.

Great data Ian.
My simple-minded theory is that Renfrew / Gordons & Cook st. are more likely to produce West winds than Nitinat after rainy weather & that Nitinat needs a few days of dry / warm weather before it really kicks in.
Re. Red Necks: If camping @ Renfrew on a weekend have your tent well away from any roads ![Twisted Evil ](/phpBB3/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)
