Why kiters have a bad rep

I have respect for kiters some of you are amazing riders, I know our sports often compete for space on the water, and back and forth about which sport is better (FYI it's clearly windsurfing). But when someone makes a comment like this it reflects bad and there are ways of dealing with them that probably aren't the right ways but do happen.

If I see you crossing on a tack I'll try my best to jump right the fuck over ya!!! I usually sport a GoPro so look out pole dancers - abetanzo

Unless you're one of the top guys in the World don't even think about it.

I just want it on record what this 'Idiot' said in case anything happens.

It's pretty funny how someone can get so revved up about someone questioning their wind gauging abilities to the point where they'd post that. Aren't there more important things to get upset about?

and to think that's the right solution, I don't want to comment on his ability, but I think he's the one who was washed down to sewers... somethings not right with this guy he probably shouldn't be kiting anywhere, especially if you're putting other people in danger.

I've seen bladders get deflated on the water when someone does something stupid, and not even by a windsurfer.

I'm not in favor of anyone ...getting knocked out or jumped over...with the right opponent, knocked up or jumped on sounds a whole lot more fun

no hate for kiting ... just ribbing. We're in a sport... we're competitive. If someone says "windsurfing is cancelled" we're going to retaliate, (we won by the way

) just like if someone says they're going to attempt to jump over me, I'm going to do something about it... just saying, and what happens if he he does attempt to jump me and plows full on into me, not good for anyone, or I get a line around my neck.
