Shame? Heck no. You guys with your safe just-past-the-point-kick-out ought to be ashamed. You could still get at least one more hit on that wave, maybe even two, if you're willing to swim after your gear for 20 minutes and then walk for another 20 like me. ....I bail out early almost everytime after a couple of hits unless when I look over my shoulder I see a lake upwind...which isn't often if it's worth riding at all and down into sewers.....problem with me is.....I just can't walk back up
