Trying to find out what find would fit this board. It's an old original
"Sailboard" think it'd be fun for paddling around on. The guy I got it from didn't know anything about the fins.

Does anyone have experience with these, or know what I can use on it???

Sailboards all used standard US fin box from what I remember (owned a couple). That box looks odd in that it doesn't seem to have the screw plate entry slot, but looks like the box has the slot for a plate. Try a standard fin, you'll probably have to wiggle the plate into position in the slot.

yep standard fin A box should fit, you can also replace the box if needed with an alu Chinook box. I guess you probably just cannot see the slot at the rear due to picture being cut off, the old ones did not have a middle slot for the washer, just a tail end one.

There are a few old fins like this kicking around I am sure. If the plastic box fails Gorilla glue it and its parts into place, should work ok. Usually the screws holding the box in are stripped and/or leak and the box can crack altogether, for paddling should be fine enough. 8)

Finding another mast base for it should be tricky but mounting a Chinook base is possible to sail it too.
