Sproat Lake - where are the best places for wind?
Hello all:
Newcomer here hoping to get community insight into summer thermal wind at Sproat Lake. We are looking at a place on the south shore of Faber arm, up near the far eastern end (a dozen or so properties northeast of the Fish and Duck).
I was hoping someone could tell me what the wind might be like there? Are there better places in certain arms with solid consistent summer thermal winds?
Thinking of windsurfing (even puttering on a big board) and would like to take up wingfoiling in the coming years as well.

Thanks! By 'the public launch' do you mean the park right beside 8285 Dickson Dr?

Yes, Dickson Park works. Fish and duck docks can be a better launch if they'll let you.
