Andrei,

That news sucks :(.

Let's do what we need to do, and make this one last!

Please give me a call next time you are going to try to get out. If it's over 10 degrees, and in that tiny window between windy enough to sail and not too much for my first kiting in two years, I'd love to get out on the water with you!

Fingers and toes crossed for the best possible outcome!

Good luck,

Paul

Andrei:

Thank you for having the courage to share the news. You are a brave one!

 Keep that van loaded and promise the gear will not come out until it has been used (at least once). 8)

I had a WTOY logo out for the first time on Monday (March 12) of this week on a 3.3  The logo was a little nervious a first  , but after a while we were both having fun. :D

Hi guys!

Here is my new cancer report.

I got an appointment for the operation, it is Mar 29. After that I
will be recovering for about a month before I get the new portion of
chemo. No radiation this time since it is radio active, and they don't
want to kill me on the go.... That would have been funny :)

I still have my Russian trip plans set up which is end of May, but
with the new chemo cycle and physical recovery I am a little concerned
about the dates, it means I might have to move them again.

Meanwhile I am hopeful to go out windsurfing before the operation, I
have started to go to the gym every day, so I would be physically
ready for the operation and recovery, we'll see how it goes.

I am very grateful for your support.

Thank you

Andrei

Andrei:

I hope you get out on the water before the 29th! 8) If you get out sailing over the next couple of weeks - please post (that would be awesome)! :D

I will be thinking of you on March 29th and hope all goes well and that they get ALL of the cancer that is left.

I am looking forward to sailing together this summer! Especially if it is on the coast of the island! I would gladly trade a summer session with RD for a winter magic session at Gordon's West.

Keep up the fight! Strength and courage my friend. :D

Hi guys!

As you all know I need another operation which is a go on 29th. So I am in a lot of medical appointments like blood tests, body measurements etc. So I am a little excited, not concerned but excited for whatever reason. :)

After the operation I am not sure I'll be able to write back for a week or so, but I promise to start doing reports again as soon as I can.

The recovery time after the operation is going to be 4 to 8 weeks before the new chemo starts, therefore it looks like I am still out of work for the summer time. Bummer.

On a personal side of my life nothing much is going on. We decided to go to Vancouver next weekend just to relax. Plus I started to go to the gym every day, which is pretty hard, but it is getting better.

That's all my news.

Just got back from Salt Spring island! What a beautiful place! Thank my wife for that wonderful suggestion! She is the best :)

If you haven't done that - do it. Maxwell Mt is the best! The view is stunning! The whole experience was very nice :)

Soup shop in Ganges was absolutely awesome! And not because I was hangry, but because "Don't trust skinny Cooke" poster above the counter.

If you can do it - do it :)
