Hi nanmoo,

No good pics of me surfing my Robert August 9'3"....basically cause I suck and I mostly always there with my 2 boys (aged 10 and 12)...and they are not camera proficient....plus I am trying to ensure they are not drowning!

The good surfers actually paddle out very close to the rock jetty, as there is a current/rip flowing out to sea there...they call it the "elevator"...takes you right out past the whitewater.

This vid is at a different Westport beach called "The Groins" which is 5 little jettys.....this is my kind of longboard surfing:

That first video is a mess, just like Tofino always seems to be when I am there... the second one on the other hand, wow! Beauty, those waves look clean and mellow like ones I have only experienced south of LA down to Mexico and in Hawaii. Fun fun fun!
