it`s early dood, windspeed says Doug`s or Raw Wiener, let`s see if they are full of crap.... maybe also check Celilo, smaller swell but more steady winds for this frontal push, probably blowing there already  Mary Hill better swell but on a SW doesn`t reach the beach sometimes or fizzles at the bridge.... on a weak push

wicked terrain drive home via Van if you leave north via MaryHill

So did I jinx the model by making a Coho reservation? Where did the oranges go for the end of the week?

If the wind looks like it ain't going to happen and it is a surf only trip I think I'll be doing a Tofino trip instead. Much closer and likely better waves.

Better waves for sure. Coming down here always reminds me that with our nooks and crannies we can almost always score a good session on VI, but down here it is almost always lumpy and sub par with steeper beaches that create gnarly shore pound. We're camping at the golf course fri-mon if you're interested mark.

I feel that I may have cursed the whole thing......obviously when a part-time sailor from Chilliwack buys a wavy type board with more than one fin it upsets some kind of balance and everything goes to crap.

Sorry.

You might be getting off easy and out of this years edition because this years edition doesn't even happen.

easy now.... it happened already and will happen again....somehow the Wavebash weeks got jinxed. July forecast looks pretty darn bomber so far at least sun-wise  hope the swell follows suit in a while

Picked this up on the Oregon Coast forecast page.

...MODELS ARE INDICATING POTENTIALLY RECORD BREAKING UPPER
LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE NORTHWEST. THEREFORE THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR RECORD OR NEAR-RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURES NEXT WEEK.

Sounds like you guys might need your 3.2/3.7's.

After 3-4 days of doing nothing in the rain I'm heading home tonight or tomorrow. While I'd love to ride waves with the crew I've gotta be back Monday might so sat-sun isn't really gonna do it.
