Camping at Nitinat

Post by Mr.Moe »

Does anyone know how busy Nitinat lake will be this long weekend? I was there once a couple of years ago and there wasn't much room for a small camper van. (it was during the wired competition) This time it'll be a small camper van and a jeep with a tent. We would be arriving Saturday afternoon, probably after everyone has setteled in. I'm very clueless as to how busy the place gets on long weekends.

Thanks ahead for any helpfull info. :?:

Camping at Nat this weekend

Given the crappy weather forecast you should have lots of room. If it were sunny then it could be busy and would be hard to get a good spot on the water....but the May Long weekend is never as busy as it is/was during WIRED.
