Globe. This is a picture of the kite launch point or very close to it I believe. It might be the next beach downwind but it looks pretty similar.

Before I was a kiter, I worked up there doing forestry work.
It is so beautiful, I always thought. I wished I had a reason to come back up here.
Now I do!
And I just got a bunch of new camping gear, and a new truck!
Has anyone ever kited up at the north tip of the island?
I went to raft cove, while I was up there.
But I can't remember if it would be good to sail.
And what about that park at the tip, the one you have to walk for half a day to get to? (can't remember the name at the moment..)
I'd be interested to make a camping trek one day, for good wind in a remote place.
But Nimkish is a good place to start... and you don't have to leave the Island!

Ok... so not so new.
But new to me.
I got a little Mazda truck, with a canopy on the back.
Good on gas, holds gear, and will keep the dust off.

I also got a new 8 meter Sonic, and a litewave board.

I asked my girlfriend to marry me yesterday as well.( :D she said yes!)
Accually had a special picnic dinner down at IV beach, tonight to celebrate.

So now I'm poor, have vacation time comming up, wheels, and big brownie points.
I just need some wind now.
Can someone turn it back on please!
