BWD helmet cam
That IS an amazing perspective, Dave! Thanks for sharing. Love the adrenaline-pumping music. I especially like the feeling of holding onto a brand new boom, sail and nice board
We really need to save up for some newer gear.

Sure, it was my GoPro WIDE camera, but the footage was all Dave's, so I think it belongs in this thread:

BWD Windsurfing CB Boxing Day 2008, Helmetcam Video
Severe loss of quality in the video, but still tolerable. There is an option to download the 300MB original (well, converted from avi to wmv) file for better quality.

Some good loops by PaulL, Bean and Dunkinguy, although they are a bit small with the wide angle. I'll have the wide angle GoPro and helmet mount up at CB tomorrow if anyone wants to use it.

The videos and action still shots are also great instructional tools. When I am watching video from unfamiliar spots it's hard to factor in where the wind is coming from, wave action, etc. With the hemet cam at a familiar spot it's easy. I'll be looping and slashing in no time...great stuff. Apart from that the perspective gives the viewer a sensation of being on the water....pretty wonderful stuff.
