at the end of the day and all this bullshit arguments back and forth, what remains is that

1) we are crappy stewards of mother earth and need to pick up our act.....
2) we need to care for those who have not by holding the 1% that have all accountable to level the playing field

Sounds pretty simple but we have all the excuses. NIKE's slogan must be our mantra!! Every DAY!!

Yes, i tried to carpool to the beach yesterday :!: yes, i gave at church last weekend toward MCC missionwork in Africa and Asia. Yes, i didn't honk at the old lady in front of me. We recycled the empty brown pops......and I flossed! Feeling pretty good today, how about YOU :?:

PS: i can only encourage MCC donations where ALL the money if you designate a project makes it to those that need it and nobody drives the new Landcruisers and takes celebrities for feel-bad photo shoots.... tho i suppose whatever works

But global warming IS caused by pollution Jl ?! I don't think global warming + overpopulation will cause THE END completely; but I do think total economic and environmental collapse followed by mass starvation is quite possible. I'd expect some survivors thought, and not in a weird post-apocolypse movie style at all. We have to believe we can do something about it though; people can accomplish extraordinary things if they get together.

ocean acidification

Post by Pete »

I haven't read The Deniers, however don't forget that CO2 has many other observed impacts to the planet such as ocean acidification.

Yep CO2 = acidification

Post by BigDog21 »

Hi All,

Easy test is bubble CO2 into an aquarium; with no fish in it cause this will kill the fish; and watch the water become acidic very quickly.
