Its like a scab or a sore tooth, isn't in Nanmoo - just can't help picking at it
After my barnacle-cut-knuckles-underwater in Florida last year, followed by my son-in-law cheerfully saying 'there was a 12 foot tiger spotted right here yesterday' I note he's taken to hauling the boat on a ways to clean the bottom.
I think all those countries are big windsurfing/kiting destinations - and Sharm el Sheik is a particular favourite. Just remember, driving to the beach is far more dangerous, as is asphyxiaphyllia

great white
couple of years ago, while on our way to mandurah, western australia, we stopped for a sail at safety bay. conditions were marginal and i did a lot of slogging and slow deliberate water starts. I was uneasy spending all that time in the water and packed it in after half an hour. 2 days later a father snorkeling, in the same spot, with his 16 yr old son was bitten in half by a very large great white. I spent my last week in Perth sailing mainly on the swan river.
like a duck to water
You want to go when the `doctor`is active. That is what they call the afternoon wind there. I think it gets windy down South in Perth and Fremantle Octoberish. The wind starts earlier the further North you go. Geraldton is a good place to go which is around 4 hours North of perth.
Search back a few pages and you`ll find the post about the windsurfer having his board bit by a shark will slogging in Geraldton...sounds like a place for you!
I sailed in the Geraldton area many many years ago. I could barely water start. Would love to go back now. You can rent a trailer in the trailer park right on the beach. Rig and walk over the sand dune. Very Nice...except for the sharks!

Hmm... perhaps the sharks prefer to bite Aussies?
Its too bad about the sharks because Perth just looks like a such good working holiday option financially, I actually found my exact job title in the equivilant government ministry over there for about 25% more per annum. Granted some things are more expensive, but housing over there is still cheaper than victoria, and with a warmer climate your money is apt to go a lot further since you don't need to spend all winter couped up inside I'm thinking.
Time to research shark repellant.

Don't forget to bring a towel!

This is specifically why you should not go in the water when the beach is closed..
