With summer officially here, the Alberni Valley, hotspot of Vancouver Island is starting to heat up and bring strong thermal winds perfect for kiteboarding and windsurfing.
Wild West Watersports Day Use Kiteboarding/Windsurfing Park is helping to create access to the water on the industrial, 'town in transition' waterfront.
Please refer to the website for directions and testimonials from kiters and windsurfers during our first season last year.
WWW Day Use Park
offers ample space for parking, grassy rigging area and world class strong winds
$15 per day
$150 annual pass (early season special)
Kiteboarders, Windsurfers, Kayakers, Stand up paddle boards, and Swimmers all welcome to play on the inlet.
