Russian Dood - we're thinking of you!
Good Stuff
Wow, really nice plaque to Andrei - thanks for putting this tribute and place of memory on the bluffs over that piece of water that he loved so much.
Best wishes on your ride in June, Mike - I'm for everything that helps in this way. I'm looking after my Dad who had the same type of cancer that Andrei did: class 4 Astrocytoma, and surgery to remove the tumor last April. So far, he is doing really well, after radiation therapy and chemo. Also, he is taking this supplement, which has been shown to fight cancer: http://youngevity-drwallach.com/beyond- ... erine.html
Passing this information on because this is a terrific product which I take too, and it is not available in local stores, yet. Helps with general health, energy and injury recovery too. They say it is cost neutral: you save the same in lower food costs because it improves digestion and less food is needed to satisfy.

thanks!
Mike

Wow, where to start here,
I am just so shocked I remember learning to windsurf with RD down at the lagoon, and it all was made me happy when I saw his Green SUV pull up, it also made a good vehicle to follow to Nitnat. I have been blessed in not experiencing too much loss due to cancer except for elderly relatives. Andrei's death has really hit me hard for some reason.
I always felt like I'd like to get back into the sport and meet up with people that were really good friends through an important part of my young adult life.
I am also sad that I caught this thread too late to be able to send a message to him. I checked this site quite often just for weather updates and never really check the forums, I am deeply moved by the tribute at the head of cook street it is very fitting and I will be taking a swing by there with my family soon.
Best thoughts RD, family and friends.

In my opinion, videos like this may grow our amazing sport of windsurfing in the future, and definately fuels the stoke that already exists.
We are a fortunate group to have a unique, special wind community on Vancouver Island and I think the BWD site has a lot to do with it. Thank-you, Dave!:)
In memory of Andrei is a heartwrenching way to tie up the video and captures the emotion that our local wind community has been feeling for the past several months.
You have amazing talents. Thank-you for sharing them with those who appreciate them most, the stars of the show and friends!
Would love to see more in the future please:)
