Double, actually I have a few, you never know when you are in someone's crosshairs the clue is I don't usually stand around in my hot wetsuit sweating, wishing I was on the water.....uhohhhC36 wrote:Kus: Is this you (or your stand in double)?

Here are a couple of shots of you out on the water (CS 2012 June 17) - taken by the Vancouver crew (in case you had not seen them). Click on the picture once to make it bigger. Click on the picture a second time to make it biggest.KUS wrote:All the Vancouver guys are here now....

nope and thx, it's difficult to wave ride when you are a meter overpowered
looks like the run is coming to an end Wednesday, heading to Florence Tuesday night or earlier if my arms fall off

I am not sure if the Vancouver crew thanked you in person, but they greatly appreciated all of the insight and advice that you shared with them (in particular at CS)!
The underlined part above is the part of the forecast that had me worried (the mid-week tank) about heading down this week - it is long way to go for just half a week. Hope the forecast is 'wrong' and wind stays!
HUGE today wicked current, avoided getting killed, exciting 45 minutes, but didn't have much fun....can't wait to see what the south swell will do if this nuking wind stays too Pistol was a mush fest just like yesterday, only bigger!
Wish less, sail more!!

can we chat weather here? i know a few guys want to hit the road friday the 22.
for weather it looks like sunday the 24th might still be good but then a system comes in with SW winds. this pattern is supposed to clear by thursday with N winds returning friday.
Surf-wise we are looking at 2' short period +- thru the weekend until tuesday when it looks like it will ramp up to 4'+ through the remainder of the week.
what is the gorge doing if we were to do the weekend there?
iwindsurf has wind out east (arlington) saturday then less than 10mph thru the corridor and out east thru to tuesday.

Morewind and I were just talking about the 9-day pressure model forecast and how it doesn't look that good for either coast or the gorge for a week or so.
It sounds like that 9-day pressure model is a very good indicator. Morewind's words were that you could see a week out that this past week was going to be really windy on the coast based on the 9-day model.
Can you and Fish delay a little?
