a little help for an ametuer this weekend at nitnat?

Post by eryn »

hey im hoping to be up at nitnat saturday/sunday and ive windersurfed before at the gorge earlier this year, and loved it. picked it up pretty easy and now since i've finally managed to aquire all the gear i'm hoping to hit up nitnat but id love it if theres some one up there who can just quickly go over my gear and make sure i've got it set up right and remind me a quick lesson 101 before i head out? unfortunately all my friends are kite boarders so theyre no good :) thanks! ps, if i dont get back to you i'm hiking skypilot mountain till friday but i'll be back friday and get back to you:)

cheers,
eryn

You won't have any trouble with windsurfers helping with your rig @ Nitinaht Eryn 8)

Just ask the first windsurfer that you camp next to. Anyone will be happy to help you out.

If you ask for Marty from www.strongkiteboarding.com. he will be at the lake this weekend. . I am sure he will have a basic lesson organized for Saturday morning around 1030 am and we can get you well on your way .

If you would like to learn everything in just a few days,
even the people who have never touched a kite before can learn in as little
as two days of private 1 on 1 instruction.

I'll be there Saturday am. I can give it the once over. BWD black hoodie. That should make me unique on the Nitinat beach!! Near the bulletin board.
I wish my TOW was longer!

Nitinat is likely to have a bad windsurf student to instructor ratio: about 20:1. 20 Instructors to 1student  nice to see AC proving your first point about kiters

Thanks guys! Looking forwards to seeing you all tomorrow! Just getting back from the mountain now, I'm in rough shape but hopefully after a shower and a quick nap I'll be ready to head up to nitnat later tonight.
