Lawn mowing with a 13m cloud

Post by Kevin B »

Good day and Happy Easter. Decided to buy a 13m cloud and finally got to muck around with it.

Not exactly the most exciting video but I think this will be a nice kite for the many lightwind summer days in Nanaimo. I chickened out and stayed fairly close to shore (trying to avoid conflict with the sea lions).

Just wanted to post my experience.

Take care

That's amazing. Less than 10 knots. You should get plenty of those days in Nanaimo.

Kevin - thanks for posting, very interesting - two questions - width / rocker of your plywood board and your weight ?

Board width is 38cm. There is very little rocker (maybe 1/4"). As for weight I'm a light and springy 200lbs

Thanks for sharing that super mellow experience, Kevin B.
Great song choice and you have the only cloud in the clear blue sky.
Life is all about balance, and a dose of healthy wind addiction
