You could make a good guess going off the race rocks and esquimalt winds. If there was wind at roads I don't think it would be too useful, the wind can do wierd stuff coming over the hill down to the ocean.

Was more looking for it coming in off the ocean towards royal roads, trying to fly my trainer on the fields there. The direction seems to be very important, since it has trees on two sides and a hill behind it.

check with campus security first, they are pretty protective of the fields cause of the birds, I used to fly RC planes there till they kicked us off.

They actually have signs up specifically prohibiting powered RC planes. The lagoon is technically a bird sanctuary.

Yes I was there when they put them up, I am just saying you may want to check about kite flying as well.
