An often occurring event, NW gale outside and SE inside along the coast.
As follows:

West Coast Vancouver Island South.
Gale warning in effect.
Wind northwest 30 to 40 knots except northwest 10 to 20 near the
coast south of Estevan Point. Wind becoming northwest 25 to 35 near
midnight except southeast 5 to 15 near the coast south of Estevan
Point. Wind becoming northwest 15 to 25 Sunday evening except
southeast 15 to 20 near the coast south of Estevan Point.

West in Juan once the Marine push arrives from the Wash. <a href="/http://sat.wrh.noaa.gov/satellite/shows ... vis&size=1" target="_blank">Coast</a> 8) Click on 'animation' & observe the timing. Looks like Monday :?
