Beautiful day ..... warm with wind!! Blew from 11 til 6pm. Sailed the Carve 99 and 6.0 initially and then the Surfwood 70 with the Revo. 4.2 but was slogging and sinking until I changed the the NP 4.9.

Started on the 7.5 and GO but after an hour it was TOO MUCH. Spent about 2 hrs on the 121 and 6.0 and then switched to the KOMBAT. Could have sailed on a 5.5. The water is soooo WARM.

unusually warm nininat. much better today than I thought it would be. Demo of JP 78 freestyle wave. fast, jumpabel , tracks good - more freestyle than wave i'd say, but will crank of you commit to the rail. Barbara back in action today too after injury with no noticible ill effect.

squamish is a mixed bag. got there first thing in the morning to outflow. in ten minutes it went from out to in and 10m kiteable. low tide when i started, makes a big difference. rvier is sweet to play in, one tack up and then a screaming reach down.....repeat. when the tide is up its mahem. i'm glad we don't have to deal with those crowds or that launch plus there are a lot of kooks. the views are awesome though.

Came up quickly at about 11am and was out on the 6 briefly but it backed off and spent the rest of the day on the GO and 7.5 Upwind with Roger and Chris and Chris (Windsurfish). Great day over all. Had wine and kebabs with Oerst, Roger, and KUS on the beach. All the usual suspects are here. WARM.

Day looked epic, full on 5.0 ~1030 so everyone braced for a hit.....that never came :oops: it died off & sucked as previous two days, only moreso. Few planing runs w/ 5.3 but even 6.2 had trouble. Explored Nat Rivermouth (nice small rollers) after scream downwinder to rescue Mark & drifting kite b4 it hit land only to have Marie arrive & save the day. Took forever to get back :roll: 10 tacks so the kiting thing again.

Just sailed the greatest day of my life. Huge South swell rolled in for my last day in Baja, prompting high surf advisories and the closure of So Cal beaches. The Chilli Bowl was breaking about 5 feet higher than mast high and this one dude was trying to chuck arials and getting pounded. More than once I saw him swim his gear out of the wind shadow. After much putting things off I had no other excuses, as per Jamie "God doesn't like cowards" I ended up self-launching 1st time @Nitinat, got on board 4 1st time & found it surprisingly easy, well, so to speak :oops: After running to middle of lake, going upwind even despite gusty crap wind, turned toeside only to remember you can go back & forth without stance change, ha! Not nearly as good as yesterday, got a few powered runs on the 5.3, then more and worse of the "on, off, on, mostly off, on, gusty" shit :evil: never seen the lake this bad when there is some wind
Tried out the new sail, handles well and heli's, ducks, and tacks nicely, and ended up sailing it mostly, broke out the larger board and it didn't improve anything, off to kite, screw this light wind stuff :x

Came down there @ 4:45 guys were ripping on 3.7-4.2 sails. So I rigged up my 4.0 and Evo...... Man, the BEST session I've had on this sail so far. Then it dropped a little , so I had to rig 4.5; had tons of fun on 4.5/Evo combo till it dropped a little more, then I pulled out my Fanatic and polished up the ending of my session with pretty sweet frontside rides. Days like that :D :D :D
