Too much fog today. It only burned off to the top of the campsite. Wind slowly built until 4 and then slowly died off and was gusty all day. Waited till 4 hoping that it would smooth out and pick up, but it didn't so having 3 good days in a row I decided to pack up early and head for home.

Wow! what a way to end a trip! got there and there was only 2 other people on the water with 10' Swells rolling through and 4.5 wind. 1.5 hours with 3 of us and then the others starting rolling in. 20 people by 1pm but still lot's of room to play. My hands gave out after 3 hours, had some sun time in the lawn chair over looking the swells and people playing below me. Great trip! Looking forward to Sept.

The wind was clearly hungover too because it never really happened today. Bad hangover + outhouse + wetsuit = uncomfortable experience. Awesome weekend overall though. Should have stuck to the Bud Light (with lime). Look Ma, I can gybe!

Warm and perfect 6.0 Retro winds, fog bank didn't quite create the temp difference needed today until later, but on the water early. Amazing speed sailing on flat-out reaches, smooth water, and so warm as a bonus. Easier entry at low tide (altho jumping off jetty with gear was pretty easy too!)
Coming up strong as I packed up, 4.5 easily.

Being out in 7m conditions at Nitinat yesterday and then cruising in super light 16m IV winds today is like dating a recent high school grad on saturday night and then going out with a recent grandmother on Sunday. It’s kinda interesting, but a little bit disorienting. But who’s complaining? :wink:
