:D Started out kinda marginal and puffy but got better as the day went on. Nicely powered on the 5.5 most of the time and some rollers to play on about 1/4 mile out, then it was weird tidal action beyond that. Nice and warm today for a change. 8)

Last day of the trip, sailed everyday at least once. Fun early morning session. I was trying to master the one-handed lay down jibe and curve 360s...maybe a little cheesy of a trick but fun It seems to be easier doing both of these moves one-handed.
Cool helicopter film crew arrived to film Wyatt and Rob. I will post pictures from the trip in the next couple of days.

First time windsurfing in Alberta. Nice to hit the water on a 32 degree day. Tried the 99L/5.0 at first, but wind increased and I switched to the 76L/4.3 for the rest of the day. I was quite overpowered sometimes (hanging on trying to keep the board from bouncing out of control), but I coudn't make myself switch to the 3.7. wow, been a year since I last planed on a kiteboard. Today re-learned it all, refined set up 5th line -thx coaches :!: Got going a bit B4 wind died off, getting kite tuned bit better & used to new, smaller board. Much nicer. Great sandbar to get a few tries without much pain, swim or hazard :P Worried early (lotsa kitemare targets), compfy late. Sun & beers on the beach, bubbly tub to heal barnacle cuts on my footsies, ouch :oops:

I needed that sesh....everything was fully dialed. The 7.0 Retro does not mind being overpowered in >20. Mostly it was steady 17 - 20. I tried a 50 cm Curtis Slalom fin. Nice. Great day at Harrison....4 kites and about 10 sailors out. Super flat water behind the jetty for speed runs and the lake is super high right now, not much place to park....and nowhere to land kites!
