Started off lame and frustrating...big board, small board, more outhaul, less outhaul. Then after 6 or so it kicked in. Should have rigged the 4.2. Saw one big stalled fwd out of Doc....impressive. Doc took control of the helmet cam to show me what real loops look like. I just looked at the footage and counted 6 fwds, 1 back, and 2 shuvits all in about 15mins :twisted:. Good footage, although he seems to look at his crotch a lot while sailing...not sure whats up with that :shock:

:shock: 3-days in a row. It took a while but when it kicked in it did big time! Fun time sessioning the top of the kelp bed. Feeling like I have had 3 hard days on the water. One good feeling back loop today felt perfect for the first half and then I landed...
Kodak courage was had by Morewind and Winddoc...like either them need that. Saw some forwards out of BWD...it is like I am the only one that is not going for them....such a Pussy! :twisted:

the lake was good today, there was even some decent knee highs for jumps for a couple hrs. i rode my 4.7 all day just changing boards for the peaks/lulls. i put a big rasberry on my chin going for a low altitude shuvit. great to see many old friends and meet MTMike, i like putting faces to handles. pirate ruskie was ripping it up too. Arrrrrgh!
lots of space on the water- the crowds were down due to all the aggros heading to gordos.

Today was a fairly intense afternoon ,started after much procrastination with a long slog to the windline with good 4.7 on the outside ,some rollers hereand there but because of the flood tide Gordons is generaly choppy but on the ebb or slack the rollers are nicely organized.ended the day with about an hour on a powered up 3.6 3 days this week!

Friday was a repeat of Thursday. After a great fishing day I hit the afternoon high tide at Incinerator Rock (Main Beach North). Wind was light which made for super clean wave riding. Waves were even cleaner than Thursday. As good as any day at Kanaha. Well, could have used a bit more wind, but the waves were delicious. :D

Cheated onto 1300 boat, straight to Gordos, bang on 5.0. Few jumps & rides, but mostly hucking strbrd ramps, not my fave but started trying loops again, this time w/ board. Provided endless humor to the gang w/ being flung far & wide, 1 really bad on Port :oops: musta tried 50, one for each sailing sesh this year :twisted: Brd nvr did clear except on one, decent rotation on 2 backies, rest sucked :x :lol: Fun day albeit bruising :roll:

Great day on the water, sailable by 10am. Started out on the 14 but the wind ramped up so once again headed out on the 10m, damn I love that kite, like a #@# mosquito. After gettin worked a few times started to figure out the timing and launch so great jumps, happy happy. Wind died down after an hour so decided to head out on a Vegas 12m demo, not bad but bar set up completely diff. than mine so definately a learning curve there for me. Fully lit on the 5.2....I think I might need a 4.7 :? . So powered up that trying to go for stuff was a little hard. Attempted a couple backloop/pushloop jump things...some good rotation on one.
By far the craziest move(s) of the day was by Kus! Kus has dropped the gloves on the forwards and only one will be left standing...hopefully it will be Kus! He defined hate today :twisted: .

Nitinat sucked. SAiled 4.7 for 30 minutes and then it shut off, so I packed up and headed to Long Beach. 2.5 hrs later I was shredding waist to head high glossers at Main Beach. Best session I've had on the west coast. Waves were super clean and there was a great vibe between the surfers and myself which is something different from another place that will remain nameless. NAiled a bunch of aerial off the lips, and no one except the stoke d surfers and kooky tourists to share it all with.

Fun!
Tried a bajillion backies, sailed away from only two (ugly but I'll take 'em). Experienced my first 1.5 rotation on a super fast forward and landed on my head after completing the first rotation :twisted: One push loop attempt (interesting feeling/rotation). Morewind and Dave were looping everywhere. The Law had a beautiful backside slash on a 4' swell that sent some good spray. RD was pulling the trigger on some forwards as well. Good day! Everyone sailing well and with lots of stoke.
