Low tide, long walk to foil depth!
14:00 Inspired by yesterday's sailing logs, I made the trip to San Pareil. First time on a low tide and I realized that I really need local knowledge on any rocks lurking in the shallows. I played it safe and put in by the webcam where I observed other foilers before. Considerable push against wind and waves to get to foil depth but well worth the effort. The 20 kts cross wind generated organized swell lines most impressive on the outside. I started on the 6m and 1750cm and quickly returned to downsize to 4.0 and 1250cm. Sailed OP for most of the session. I hit a sandbar at speed only once, luckily no damages to report. With a cross-on and acres of exposed beach, I was hoping to meet local kiters but none today. The dark sky was less than inviting.
