a definite shit show- took 2 tries to get out. First attempt was 20 minutes getting absolutely maytagged in the surf.
Came in for an hour, had a coffee, decided to try again. Was 1 wave from getting skunked again, but just managed to eek out.
Once out, apparently had forgotten how to ride the waves ( 2 weeks of flat water NW). Didn't get a single gybe in the first 45 minutes.
After that it became a bit more familiar (and fun). Decided to quit while I was somewhat ahead.
