This was a two session day with conflicting swell that definitely made me work a little harder as a result of touchy starts with new 72l Omen. This is an amazing board. Almost intuitively wants you to use waves for take off unlike my 105l wide body that stalls in a surf start. Realizing that it's about thinking differently.Got a little unnecessarily frustrated with difficulty of take off and yet..once I chilled...my rides were the best they have ever been. Second session was even better. Focused, calm movements with the results to show.
